Roisin Black from Meath bought a 2008 Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6HDI VTX in October 2011
''I rang up looking for a 2007 as I thought that was all I could afford but with the saving I was able to buy a 2008 with only 25000 miles and parking sensors, will definately recommend to my family and friends''

David Bonner from Sligo bought a 2010 C5 2.0HDI Exclusive Auto in September 2011
''I always liked the look of the New C5 but was unsure of what sort of deal I would get with my southern reg BMW 730D SE but the salesman @ Hallidays was able to get me the best possible price for it and the price to change was unbeatable''
Gavin O'Connell from Cork bought a Grand C4 Picasso VTR+ 1.6HDi in September 2011
''I was on the look out for a 2008 Grand C4 Picasso but the prices at the local garage where way out of my budget, so a friend recommended I contact Hallidays, I was a little apprehensive at first because I didn't fancy a 6 hour drive!! So I rang the sales number and got a video tour of a few Grand C4 Picasso's once I picked the one I liked, they even delivered to my door''

Costs of Importing
Importing a car into Ireland is really easy. In fact it's just like any other car in Ireland. You need to pay VRT, tax and insurance, the only difference being, your new car has never been in Ireland before so the VRT is new.
If you bring a vehicle into Ireland, you must show proof of ownership.
Halliday Citroen will supply everything you need by providing you with the vehicle registration document.
The Cetificate of Permanent Export will be completed for you by Halliday Citroen.
Once in Ireland you will need to pay the applicable VRT by the end of the next working day following its arrival into Ireland.
As the car is used, you will need to fill in a VRT4 form.
You pay the VRT charged after your vehicle has been inspected at the VRO.
Once the vehicle has been registered by the revenue Commissioners and the VRT paid, you will receive:
A receipt for the VRT paid showing the registration number assigned to your car.
We will produce your registration plates.
Also:
An RF100 for use when you are applying for your tax (if this has not already been done by ourselves)
You will receive your new Irish Registration Certificate after you have applied for the motor tax.
